President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyo today to start state visit to China and South Korea.

BERITASATU.COM - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyo today to start state visit to China and South Korea.

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and First Lady Ani Bambang Yudhoyono will leave for Beijing, People's Republic of China (PRC), untukmelakukan state visit. After that, followed by a visit to Hong Kong and Seoul, South Korea, to attend the Summit (Summit) Second Nuclear Security.

Yudhoyono was accompanied by First Lady Ani Yudhoyono departed from Halim Perdana Kusuma airport to Beijing, People's Republic of China at 10:00 on Thursday (22/3).

State visit of President Yudhoyono in Beijing will be preceded by a bilateral meeting with President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao. In this meeting, President Yudhoyono is scheduled to witness the signing of several agreements, including the MoU on Maritime Cooperation, MOU on Cooperation in Narcotic Drugs, Substances and Precursor Chemical Psychoptropic Control, Archieves MoU Concerning Cooperation, and the MOU on Exchange of External Merchandise Trade Statistical Data.

President Yudhoyono also will hold a bilateral meeting with Wu Bangguo, Chairman of the National People's Congress and Li Changchun, member of Communist Party of China Politburo Stay. 


In addition to meeting with the leaders of the PRC, the president will also meet with some of the leading CEOs in China and delivered scientific papers at Tsinghua University in order to receive honorary doctorates from the universities.

"President Yudhoyono's visit to the PRC and South Korea will certainly further strengthen relations and cooperation with these countries Indonesia," said Teuku Faizasyah, Special Staff of President of the International Relations field.

According to him, the visit is also expected to increasingly realize the various frameworks of cooperation embodied in the strategic partnership between Indonesia and each of the two countries.

Meanwhile, the President's visit to Hong Kong is expected to further open up market opportunities for products of Indonesia as well as attracting more tourists and Hong Kong to Indonesia.

After visiting Beijing kenegaraanke, PresidenYudhoyono and his entourage will leave for Hong Kong to the Hong Kong Maret.Dari the 24th President Yudhoyono will leave for Seoul, South Korea, to attend the Second Summit of Nuclear Safety (Second Nuclear Security Summit), and a state visit. Related to Nuclear Safety Summit, Faiza said the summit was important for Indonesia because its mission is in line with the constitutional mandate, namely to create a more peaceful world, and is freed from the threat of nuclear weapons include preventing nuclear materials falling into the hands of terrorists, criminals, or the Other parties are not responsible.

During the course of the Nuclear Security Summit which took place on March 26 to 27, the president will deliver a series of speech-related issues into the discussion the summit, among others, Nuclear Security, Safety Interface and National Measures and International Cooperation to Enhance Nuclear Security, Including Future Commitments .

President and First Lady and his entourage planned to be back from Seoul, South Korea, to the country on Thursday, March 29.

During his visit Yudhoyono was accompanied by several ministers of United Indonesia Cabinet II. Trade Minister Gita Wirjawan, Andi Mallarangeng Affairs, Education and Culture Minister Muhammad Nuh, Minister of Industry MS Hidayat, Minister of Foreign Affairs Marty Natalegawa, Cabinet Secretary Dipo Alam, Banten Governor Ratu Atut Chosiyah, and Chairman of the Committee on National Economy Chairul.
