Arkansas - Scientists in the United States (USA) have discovered a new dinosaur footprint that allegedly came from three-toed giant predator.
As quoted by the Associated Press on Friday (10/07/2011), researchers from the University of Arkansas is studying some of the newly discovered dinosaur tracks. Allegedly the dinosaur is a type of meat-eating hoofed three.
Footprints were found in the southwest Arkansas. The discovery is expected to give clues as to what the region in earlier times.
The science party itself estimated that the dinosaur footprints from the beginning Creatceous era, ie, approximately 120 million years ago.
"The quality and length of the footprints into this place as an important site," said Stephen K Boss, head of research.
The study was funded by the National Science Foundation, USA.
